It all began with a deep passion to revive Tampa as we natives knew it to be. Too much bureacracy and red tape and special interest have ruined much of Tampa's government. I want to start fresh and remove the unwanted overreach of city goverment. I want to involve the citizens as much as possible in the decisions that I would make as Mayor. Who is with me? This is a huge undertaking and I need a lot of input and guidance and unfortunately a lot of funding to defeat any opponents who would challenge our ideals. 

I live and work in Tampa and I drive on the same streets you do, I shop in the same stores you do, I worry about the crime just like you do, Im concerned about the growing number of homeless just like you are. 

The current administration doesn't seem to be concerned about much other than a legacy. Channelside and parades take precedence over potholes and infrastructure. Don't even get me started on our drainage systems. My heart goes out to all who flooded due to this neglect.  

Should I be elected Mayor, I promise I will listen to your concerns and I will also provide transparency and accountability for all city departments. I deal with several now as a general contractor and I see a lot of room for improvement. 

I would love to have an open door policy as one of our previous mayors did. Citizens can come in and tell me about problems and that way nobody goes unheard. I believe this is the only way to run a city. 

I also believe there is so much opportunity for corruption. It is all too common now in government. I would want to delve into the lobbyist, special interest, and back door deals that I know we all suspect. Where else is all this money going? and they still want more? 

I want to also rein in all the lawless unelected bureaucrats. 

I say, give me the opportunity, What do you have to lose? We have seen what the last 8 or so years have produced. From what I can see it isn't much in the way of maintaining Tampa as a whole...... but yet handpicking projects that only serve a small slice of our population.
